Welcome to our Powerstone Leadership Newsletter. Strategy for a New Era, Evaluating External Threats to Your Business. In this issue we identify 5 external threats that are predicted to impact your organization over the next several years. External threats are anything from your organization's outside environment that can adversely affect its performance or achievement of its goals. Your organization can not change external threats however you can develop a strategic plan to overcome or minimize risks to your success.

Retreats provide an optimal opportunity for leaders to gather their teams to envision and adapt strategy. The reopening of in-person and hybrid meetings signals that we have finally turned the corner from lockdowns and restrictions to the start of a new era.

Below we share photo highlights of a recent strategic planning retreat at the stunning Alyeska Resort in Girdwood Alaska.
Strategic Planning Retreat in the Executive Meeting Room at the resort. No electronics allowed in the meeting works magic to keep everyone focused.
The 7 Glaciers restaurant is located on top of the mountain. We celebrated the completion of our Strategic Planning Retreat at the restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious dinner and teambuilding. The tram to the top is 2300 feet and there were mountains in every direction.
The resort was beautiful and a perfect setting for the retreat. Plenty of snow on the ground and blue sky.
The tram runs from the resort to the top of the mountain. Plenty of skiers and boarders enjoying the snow.
At the Alyeska and throughout Alaska you will find original carvings. Great art inspires creativity and vision for the future.
Everything is big in Alaska. Had a talk with this big Moose at the airport on the way home. Thank you Alaska for the incredible natural beauty. During my career I have traveled throughout Alaska and always get called back. Thank you to my daring and thoughtful client for the opportunity to be of service.
