Powerstone is passionate about giving back to the community. In addition to the programs noted below we support a variety of nonprofits and community organizations.

The Puyallup Tribe of Indians

The Puyallup Tribe of Indians generously supports nonprofits. Ms. Hagedorn has served as a liaison to help people in need. Major programs accomplishments supported by Tina include:

Distribution of over 500,000 toys, clothing, food and school supplies to families throughout Washington State, tribal reservations in California, Oregon and South Dakota (Rosebud and Pine Ridge) with the support Spirit of Sovereignty.

Puyallup Tribal donations have also supported Gig Harbor Film Festival, TCC Food Pantry, Communities in School, traditional drum program, backpack for local schools, veterans programs, various college scholarship funds.

Tina enjoys volunteering at PACK - People for Animal Care and Kindness.

Tina has also volunteered at Washington Women’s Correction Center and Paddle to Puyallup Canoe Journey,

National Association of Women MBAs, President Emeritus – Houston, Texas (2013-2017)

The National Association of Women MBAs is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering female business professionals, to assisting women into leadership positions in business, and enhancing the diversity of the workforce worldwide. For more than 37 years, the organization has served four related client groups: female MBA students, female business professionals and MBA-level universities and corporate partners. Ms. Hagedorn served as the National Board President.

Tacoma Community College (TCC) Foundation Board of Directors - Tacoma, Washington (2014-Current)

TCC Foundation Board is widely recognized as a key community resource with a strong and committed Board of Directors.  The Foundation Board's goals are designed to support TCC's key strategic initiatives: Create Learning, Achieve Equity and Engage Community. Ms. Hagedorn serves as the Foundation Board Treasurer and raises money for scholarships. Tina generously supported the TCC Food Pantry and the Learning Communities which is a program the serves students at greatest risk of dropping out.

Crime Stoppers Tacoma/Pierce County – Crimes Against Seniors Program - Tacoma, Washington (2009-Current)

International, nonprofit civilian program that assists police in solving crimes through citizen tips. Developed and launched a social justice initiative to protect seniors from crimes. Mentor to EMBA students in the expansion of this initiative. Volunteer coordinator for Toys for Tots and Crime Stoppers, working as a liaison for tribal communities. Built strategic partnership with Puyallup Tribe of Indians, Pierce County Sheriff’s Department, Tacoma/Pierce County Crime Stoppers, State Attorney General's office, other law enforcement and Seattle University Executive Leadership Program.
